CA, San Francisco - 10.02.2004 ***LOVE PARADE***

FYI- it's usually cheaper to fly into Oakland than SF.....ORRRR you can fly into Sac and drive w/e into the city since the bf probably won't be coming w/me ( he's gonna be in TX) !!! :)
 
well I'll have 3 others in my car who probably won't mind splitting 3 gas fillings (amt. needed for round-trip driving), which with my car will be roughly 30 bucks each time...I'm guessing the trip will only add one more filling at most.

Plus in Norcal, I personally find it essential to have a mode of transportation other than public transport. BART's expanded a lot since I've lived there, but regardless having a car with as many people expected to be around would be beneficial.
 
What's up guys...I'm tryin to figure out how to make it up, since I've never been more excited to go to an event before (even with no lineup posted!). Anyways, for everyone driving from socal we should get in a big line and just invade the fuck outta SF.

Also, we should try to get everyone in the same hotel. Oh man, that place would be scary o_O

I just heard on CNN that you can get a round trip from NYC to LAX for $212 on America West!! And that prices are at an all-time low due to competition w/in the industry...
 
I think we'll be flying into San Jose and renting a car. I agree with Jeffe that a vehicle is most defiantly needed. We're flying out and staying the 1-6th! I can't wait!
 
Flying in on Wed 9/29. Hanging out with the folks wednesday and thursday. Picking up my car from my dad's place and driving into SF on Friday (which happens to be my birthday!) w00t! Then whatever happens until I leave Monday morning.

Did I mention Friday is my birthday? Definitely hitting up a club in SF, everyone of course is welcome! w00t!




Btw, the Friday is my birthday. I didn't know if you knew that.
 
We are driving overnight on thursday so we can arrive at a reasonable time on Friday. We managed to get a hotel 0.3 miles from city center on the 1200 block of market street but since we will have our car it doesnt matter how far away from the event we are.

does anybody know if this is 100% confirmed and for sure going to happen? I'm wanting to book flights and hotels etc. Also, is there any cost involved for the parade??? Thanks for any help anyone can give... I'm from Indianapolis and really wanting to make the trip out.
