JBizzle'z mom was with us at the LP last year. She was rolling balls and rocking out like the rest of us. She even made it to the BL meet up... Cool peps in my book...

thats the most awkward situation ever. thats right up there with having parents doing it thru the wall next door if not way worse.

I know the man behind the man at Love Parade. He's my godfather. I'll probably be hangin' with him for a period of time, but me and my friends will probably find our own way.

Sometimes parents can be friends and everything works out OK. I think it depends on the level of respect both parent and child have for eachother.

i was at loveparade last year and didn't bother going to the parade, as there was plenty going on back at the seedy hotel we took over(i wouldnt have missed it for a unicorn parade).

I'm going to go ahead and reserve rooms at that seedy hotel again, that place was perfect (and cheap!). If anyone needs info on it (and I know you) PM me.

^Werd. I thought that hotel was decent; no one gave us shit for being fairly loud at all hours, the management was friendly, price was right, and it was centrally located.

so.... *if* i can swing the cost of a plane ticket to SF after work friday evening, and back sunday night...

i'll be there.

some of my best friends from HS live in downtown SF so i'll probably crash with them since a hotel room is a bit out of my league right now. that and i dont wanna deal with rolling people, especially when they are the mother of a grown adult! eek. i couldnt handle that. saw enough drug abuse when the SF friends and i were still in school back east. ;)

fewer excuses more RSVPS!

edit: ups to the brad for sackin up on the lodging again viva la [edited to remove name of den of sin]

Seedy hotels and Bluelight seem to go together pretty well from my recollections.

hehe...that place definitely was Hotel de Seedy. :)

Dude, you guys stayed in the uptown version of that chain. If your version was De Seedy, mine was De Sade.

That place *was* pretty bad....I'm going to go ahead and and just reserve myself a room and the W. I'll catch ya guys lata' ;)

For anyone who thought our motel at last year's LP was sketchy..... ;) .....come on, sketchy is my business.....

.......I wish I had a picture of the Barstow crack-den which AB and I called home for one night on a weird and twisted drive home from Vegas after being forcefully detained in the depths of Bat Country and deprived of a decent, blue-collar hotel room due to a routine-freak chemical spill near the railroad tracks through town........*shudders*

=D =D =D

...some people just insist on living life a little more than others...

^rofl

There is a more centrally located branch of that same hotel, but I didn't want to do it up quite so seedy this year, I am thinking about somewhere that isn't a chain and is probably within $20/night of Hotel de Seedy. ;)

Damn, if you people thought that hotel was seedy, you must typically stay in far nicer establishments than I.
