My homie got his wallet stolen by some little candy kid that gave him a massage and next thing he knows his wallet is gone. Little punk ass bitch.

did she steal it twice? *giggles*

I have to agree with most of you that I expected it to be better, the vibe was kinda weird. I wasnt pumped up by any of the djs really. Maybe what put me in a blah and irritated mood is that I was sober for the most night. Whats up, is there a dry spell going on or what ? :\

RITM was actually kinda boring, their setup was alright but the music seemed slow, almost too quiet. I saw too many narcs arresting a good number of people. :X There seemed to be a lot of cops, more than usual... anyone else notice this?

Low point: I lost my fucking cell phone!

High point: I got a pic with DJ Irene, she fuckin rocks!!! Wish I could've saw her spin but most of the good acts played way too early.

Oh well, I think Im done with massives for now... maybe MM will be better.

I was there, I had fun, I unfortunately forgot to meetup with bluelighters (ran out of time getting ready to look at this webpage for the meetup stuff), but I was there with 7 friends from various other areas of my life, and me and my wife were celebrating our recent wedding (week before nocturnal). :)

But we have all agreed (my friends and I) that we will all meetup again at Monster Massive! So hopefully I'll remember to meet up with the bluelighters then!

I plan on writing a trip report in the respective forum.

Anyone know what happen to craze? And does anyone know how many people were there?

Oakenfold(I'm curious as to why everyone hates him)....
Cause he sucks.

That's bull shit, they have a slower approach to electronic music in general but that does not mean that their show isn't of high in quality and production. RITM had another mind blowing performance. I didn't even bother seeing Jokenfold or Irene, I missed Andy C cause he showed up late. Tech Itch & Total Science were sick as hell so I didn't mind missing Dj Craze.

Hybird and Hyper had the best over all sets of the night. Oh and Uberzone didn't disappoint. Only bluelighters I ran into all night was who me?, Bella, and Heather it was good seeing you guys, you all looked great. Congrats btw!!

This year wasn't the best, I showed up late and left early, oh well though, there's always other parties. The vibe wasn't all that, I got bumped into so many times by the end of the night I wasn't letting anyone walk next to me or in front of me. Much shit talkin' was involved. After the party I went to my friends house Laguna Niguel and watched some Tivo'ed Smallville and History channel.

I guess you can't always have the time of your life. 8o

It's not BS man. A lot of the people I talked to (myself included) who have seen and thoroughly enjoyed past RITM sets thought this one was pretty mediocre.

Psilo- i wasnt there for a lot of soniks set (after the little snafu during my boy daves set that sonik was responsible for, i didnt feel compelled to stick around) but i was wearing a blue skirt and black tank top, and had hair in pigtails, which were probably taken out by then. i was drunk, and belligerant.

elliot-- good meetin ya sweetie! youre such an awesome kid!

I walked out on ritm...thought it was boring...

I said I would listen to more than just dnb this time...but i just found myself back in there time and time again after i left heh

^^^^^^^^^ my exact experience, i am a huge DnB fan and said the same thing, but to me the DnB room was off the hook all night long and there was actually a little breeze and room to dance unlike most of the other rooms

I feel the same as the above two posters. I made the effort to see DJ Irene, RiTM, and Oakenfold, but as much as I used to adore trance, DnB has definitely become my new favorite genre of electronic music. The DnB room was just too mindblowing to stay away from for too long - I felt a bit like I was wasting my time/money by sitting around waiting for RiTM to get good.

Although I did really enjoy seeing a theromin in action. Also the fire dancers and gymnists were quite impressive. The little show they had with security guard guys and the big blonde dude yelling "keep hope alive" was really freaking stupid. Ah well.
