hellz yeah....so we got out here from columbus and been havin a blast so far......can't wait for EDC.....me n mah friend melly iz stayin a block offa Venice Beach in a studio apt for the week......anyone close by>?? hit me up

so is there an after-party going on? if so can we get some info posted on it cuz i'm still contemplating on going to EDC and an after party will convince me to get my ass in gear
 
The after party is called "The Parking Lot". Guess where its located. Remember EDC 3 years ago? They locked us in the parking lot till everyone left the music areas. We busted out the lawn chairs cranked up Bob Marley on the car stereo and chilled for another two hours with everyone else. It ended up being better then the party... And that was a kick ass party...
 
i will be in LA the day after EDC (6/27) till probably july 1/2ish...

I am *DEFINITELY* going! My girl Emily and I (and who knows who else) are driving up and back Saturday - its our first EDC and we can't wait! Y'all can find me in the Bassrush arena the whole time... mmmmm J.Majik!! <3

my crew is gonna crash at a nearby hotel and were gonna either walk or get a taxi to get back n forth so maybe ill wonder into the "parkin-lot-after-party" so look for the weirdo in long blue shorts and come up to him & the password is "slinky" for BL recognition ;)
 
Okay, I have one problem and I need help from some of you SoCal Blers....I have some party pants, but I've had the same pants for years. I haven't bought a new pair since 2000.

I went shopping the other day for some rave clothes and...nothing. Hot Topic, Pac Sun, all those places went trendy on me.

And all the online stores (I spent 6 hours looking at em all) won't make it here on time.

Is there any rave clothing stores from San Diego to Los Angeles, where I can get some decent clothes for this weekend (I used to be a candy raver, so I'm looking for 30" flares or so.)

LISA LASHES! And Omar Santana. What more convincing do I need??? None, I got my tix. I never got to massive raves because I am too old (27, LOL) but I'll do anything to hear Lisa Lashes again (saw her in Dec. at the Mayan, she was amazing.)

Anyone have any idea of the times the DJs will be on? I won't be out there until evening, don't wanna miss my girl, but I doubt they'd put her on in the early hours of the event...

I say buy some Vintage clothing. There's some stores on Melrose in LA like Slow or Jetrag. Also if your in San Diego you can go to Buffalo Exchange. IF all else fails, make them yourself.
 
Grooveriders on Ventura blvd should still have some raver gear, although probably not near as much as it had back when wearing raver clothes was all trendy.

I'll be at this one for sure. If anyone wants to meet up or chill at the party/after the party, hit me up.

Ok, I forgot to post on this thread until today...
me and my fiance (BellababE) will be attending... It will be my 5th Electric Daisy Carnival and her 4th.

We will be getting there as early as possible, and hanging out in the house area (I love EDC's outdoor house environment) 80% of the time and wandering around the rest of the time. (Lisa Lashes and Dj Dan = fantastic)

All of you who I didn't get to meet at previous events better be there and meet me damnit! I look like a computer nerd with glasses who will be all fuckered up on 2CB and Methylone. If you see someone doing crazy poi with his keys, thats me.

I hope the EDC tradition continues until 2060 when I plan on dying. If it doesn't, somebody sell me 40 acres and I'll hook up my speakers and I'll continue the damn thing myself.

And about the afterparty, I was definately there at "Parking Lot 2001"... "Parking Lot: How Sweet it is 2001" kicked ass as well (party till noon)! But this year, I'm old enough to have learned its better to party my ass off from noon-2am so I dont mess up my sleep cycle or die driving 2 hours home at 6am.
