104 days...

I'm alreayd planning on going both days. I'm gonna try and book a hotel room within the next few days. teh Indian Palms COuntry Club is right by the venue, and its only about 130 a night, near as I can tell. Considering the Traffic that plauges the street (yes, street, as in one.) that goes to the venue, paying 130 bucks for a 2 bed room thats walking distance from the polofield is a deal.

Anywho, The fucking PIXIES!!!!! and the Cure!!!. Nothing short of an apocalypse is keeping me from this event.
 
We should get bluelighters to make a trip to the festival. I am driving back from the Festival to my house in Mira Loma. I cant wait to see what House DJ's are going to show up there.
 
I see a massive meetup in store for this one. There are so many of you in Socal that I want to meet... I'm sure I'll get down there WELL before May but yes, this is going to be an amazing show.

It of course goes without saying that some of us in Norcal should carpool- let's discuss that more closer to the event!

I fucking love Kings of Leon and the Strokes, I will have multiple orgasms if they are there!

and I want to meet phishie too, for slightly dishonorable reasons ;)

you only need a credit card to hold a room there. My girlfriend and I have stayed there the last 3 years. We walk to the event.

They don't ask for a deposit. I booked my room about 6 weeks ago. You should hurry if that is where you want to stay, I know some people who are holding 5 rooms already and space is VERY limited there.

Let me know if you make it. We might have an extra bed. (I asked for 2 queens). It's just going to be my g/f and I, more than likely.
 
wow the pixies. they live near my parents, about 2 houses away. good times.

anyway, i'll be there, along with all my friends from back in cincinnati. gonna be a BIG turnup for this
 
Well, as of 2 days ago, every hotel in Indio is already sold out. I ended up reserving a block of rooms real cheap at the Vagabond Inn in Palm Springs, about 15-20 miles from the venue. Im sure it isnt athe nicest place on earth, but they were cheap. I'll be doling them out to friends as they confirm if they are going. I might be able to arrange to transfer a few of them to you guys, if for whatever reason you can't/don't find arrangements elsewhere.
 
You know ... this sounds worth driving from Indiana for ... especially since Radiohead is my favorite .. EVER ... anyone wanna give a broke kid a place to stay?

I live about 1hr and 15minutes from Indio, you can stay at my crib
