I did give up alcohol for the month of april, but may 1 I can drink again....I hope my tolerance doesn't get too low. :D

i got a bunch of kinks worked out, and then today i got hit with some news that will potentially prevent me from going.

i'm going to try and pull some strings and still make it happen, but i dont know yet for sure.

I'm going. I'm arriving in LA at 7pmPST on 4-29... looking for a place to stay that night, then on 4-30 I check into my suite at Palm Desert.

Let's start gettin' crunk early everyone... I'd love to meet up with a bunch of you.
 
we're flying in from japan on the 26th, chilling in san diego from then till friday, camping three nights, then going over to camp in joshua tree black rock campsite or something like that.
while in san diego we're thinking about going to the wildlife park, flower fields, driving along the beach, maybe even a trip to mexico for the day. The week after the party we have no plans...are there any interesting events or expos or anything until the 7th?

also what's up snakecharmer, congratulations youre the first person who's going that i've actually met :)

we have to buy our tent in america, so that will be interesting...

the excitement builds!

As Dagny suggested to me when we hung out the other day, we really should get some walkie talkies. :D

But I think for the most part we'll find away to join together through the madness.
 
Well, it would appear that Day 1 is sold out. Hope you all got your tickets alredy.

Walkie talkies - I can probably get a couple of Talkabouts. They are 20 buckls at Costco if anyone needs some.

Carrie - Damnit, I said I still have a room available if you need one. I also still have a bed in my room, if it's just you going. Let me know ASAP cause I have to cancel the room soon otherwise.

^I am in exactly the same situation as ollie and buddah... I was anticipating getting my ticket from my dad as a birthday present last week and that he would have bought it awhile ago, but instead he gave me cash and told me to get it myself... at which time I found out Saturday is sold out. :(

I still want to go and posted on a local SF board begging someone to sell me their ticket. So, cautious optimism.

I got 2 more responses on the mailing list and will send that out later after I have had a chance to read them.

Keep your fingers crossed for me that I can get a ticket for Saturday!

*bangs head on desk*
 
So, those of us who don't have tickets for Saturday- we'll just have to find some way to amuse ourselves and get tickets for Sunday.

I am determined to make it to this one. I'm working out the details now.
