lifting cobwebs stained
full with remembering
hung out to
dry
like strewn starfish
dissolving in white sand
spiked full , with
possible-impossible half
meanings
threaten to asphyxiate
as landscapes around you shift
arbitrarily conditioned
defenses
self-indulgent grown up
laughter
brimming in your presence
shiny and lustful, yet
too many hackneyed
overtones
threaten to uncover half-spilt
intimacies
forgettable sick
secrets
engorged eyes and twisted
truths
lifted out of burial
hushed senseless
over a bag full of cloth
hung out to dry
like a girl-childs
shame

so i went for a walk,
to disperse myself
unravelling
till I finally arrived at a loose
end
and I slowly lost the others
just as I found
myself
there were no maps to show how i
remained.
