BZP dihcl vs. hcl ?

I suspect they are the same thing, and it was just mislabelled at first. Then finally they realized it was dihydrochloride and started calling it by the correct term.

not necessarily.
BZP has two nitrogen atoms (since it's a piperazine). it would be possible to protonate both of them, and the pH at which both would be protonated would be lower, of course, than the pKa at which one would.
therefore, it would be possible to prepare BZP as both the hydrochloride and the dihydrochloride, and there will be a difference between them.
BZP dihydrochloride contains only 85.3% of the BZP of BZP hydrochloride, because of the extra HCl. also, BZP dihydrochloride, being more acidic, may have different absorption characteristics once it's in the body.

I have never used BZP Hcl, but I have used BZP DiHcl many times, with no ill effects/hangover like those that have taken BZP Hcl have described. It feels a lot like amphetamine, and carries the standard amphetamine side effects(especially dehydration). Some people claim that the extra Hcl would not alter the effects, but I am conviced that it is a much more recreational form of the drug. I have never gotten a BZP hangover, like so many people have described(nasty flu-like symptoms the entire day after). If you decide to take the plunge, I have some advice for you: resist snorting it. Trust me.
