There was a raid on a drug lab in a Perth house last week, the lab was producing BZP. BZP is a stimulant similar to the d-amphetamines but with claimed effects on the serotonin system similar to MDXX with a high enough dose, probably not used commonly due to its side effects like irritability and twitches to name a couple. It has been available 'legally' over the net for some time, not anymore...
I heard on the radio this morning the police have decided to schedule BZP. Apparently unaware of its existence before this raid they have taken the hard line and now BZP is no more.
I'm still chasing solid information about this and will add it here if I find it.

you have to wonder why would a drug lab produce BZP when you can just buy it from a chemical supplier legally?
If this is true it looks like yet another example of a cool research chemical being taken away from us.

So to in the US. Incidently its sold as a herbal high under the name EXODUS. Its still legal and being sold in places like conerstores in NZ :P
Cant see the big deal, its hardly gonna be the most popular drug, ppl are only doing it cos they cant find any real drugs. Just another side effect of prohibition.
Yeah it does seem REAL fishy they found an illegal lab for BZP when you can get it cheaply thru legitimate sources. Hell even the users could get it from legimate sources why would they bother going to a dealer?
Gotta be some unknown element to this story or else its a complete spin.
