Heroin buying needles in nyc

i just moved to brooklyn from nj and i've heard that SOME pharmacies here will sell needles with out a script. none in nj will sell them to u so i'm a little confused about how to go about doing this.

how do i know which pharmacies will sell them? what do i say, do i have to make up a story or can i just walk in and be like "yo give me some pins"?

i realize that there are other threds talking about buying needles, but this is specifically about buying them in nyc, i'm pretty sure this is harm reduction because it would be bad for me to keep using needles that are so old that theyre bending all over the place

Oh, it's very simple. But I'll help you out.

There's 4 things you need to tell them in a very clear way so you can get what you want.

1) Brand (I always get BD's)
2) Gauge aka "G" with a # (i.e.... 27G, 30G, 31G)
3) needle length (i.e. 5/16", 1/2", 1")
4) volume (3/10 CC, 1/2 CC, 1 CC)

example, when I buy needles, I say...
"Can I have a pack of BD, 31 gauge, 5/16", 3/10 CC?"

If the person behind the counter gives you any lip at all, or tries to sell you an inferior product (with an incorrect gauge/needle length/volume), tell them that you're not stupid and you need your insulin syringes because you need to dispense your insulin properly.

The customer is always right. Never forget that.

They may spin some story about how they "only have these" but that's just a lie and they know it. You know it too! :)

Here's a funny story. Once upon a time I was buying needles. My friend and I walk up to the counter. We both ask for *the same* product. Two people were working behind the counter. My friend got the bitch who always tried to sell us shittier needles.

Well, the person behind the counter I talked to asked to see my ID, upon seeing I am no child, they got me the pack of needles I asked for. As the other pharmacy worker preceded to lie and bullshit around, my friend just demanded that she get what she was asking for, and it worked. The dumb bitch came back saying "oh look I found one pack left..." yeah, so why did the other co-worker go back and quickly get what I asked for without any lip? Exactly.
