No, 2C-I is illegal under the Federal Analog Act as it's a structural analog of 2C-B. IIRC the Analog Act has not been been used to prosecute anyone yet, however.

2C-I is an extremely stable molecule, as are most phenethylamines. Kept away from light and heat, it will likely outlast you.

The US analogue act contains a clause that courts have interpreted as necessary, in addition to the other definitions due to the precise wording of the act, for a given substance to be considered Schudule I or II via analogue staus: intention for human use.
That is why RC vendors all use lengthy disclaimers to the proper lab use only, no human use, sell in bulk amounts, and block your email if there is ever any hint of human consumption.
Thats why you can be prosecuted for having one in a gel cap, as they are explicitly designed for human consumption,
There have been prosecutions under analogue act that were thown out because there was no proof of actual or intent of human consumption.
Thats also why you now have all these individual states doing emergency scheduling of one after another RC... they have realized the analogue act has this problem, and that they need to just go about explicitly banning things they dont want people to have.
