Streaming sun burns your eyes,
As it seeps on through the blinds.
Hands fall off the knot of rope,
And you drag the bar of soap,
Over your face,
And the freeway race,
To the places lacking hope.

Butterfly scales immersing tingles on your eyelids,
Enumerate the shingles of your skin.
Gliding down to touch to ground,
To show the way it's been.

Feathers of breeze carress the lapses in your memory,
Taste the drip that sweetens on the tongue,
Bromeliad splaying the open flowers in the glory,
Of the purple sun.

And you are happy.

Folding envelopes and squeezing out the creases,
Happy when the bubbles pop and all the air releases,
Concern for the day when,
Waiting for the end of life decreases.

Hands fall off the knot of rope,
And you drag the bar of soap,
Over your face,
And the freeway race,
To the places lacking hope.

I love how this is disjointed, but somehow makes perfect sense.

And the rest is beautiful.
