Hi all. I'm on methadone maintenance 70mg daily. I get BAD panic attacks so i take the occassional benzo(klonopin, ativan, xanax, etc). and i aint gonna lie sometimes i like to get a lil benzo high. lately xanax has been my fucking jesus in a pill. I was an opiate junky for years and i HATED benzos. couldnt stand em, but now for some reason it mixes so nice wit the methadone it just gives me a real mellow soft buzz takes all my worries away. I do know its dangerous to mix em, so i do space out my doses and dont take large doses either. My benzo tolerance has gone up quite a bit. To get a xany buzz i normally take 4-6mg. anyway i got burned 5 times in the past week tryin to get xanax. I seriously lost about $250 Im pullin my fuckin hair out. Last night i bout 8 "xanax bars" that turned out to be 15mg buspirone or buspar. WTF is this shit?! i've read online that they arent benzos at all. some ppl say they fuck you up, but most are horror stories saying they are terrible and not to take em. can anyone weigh in on this? Im really sketched out bout takin somethin ive never taken before especially when im on the dones as well. I have terrible anxiety right now and i've LOVE to have somethin to take the edge off but i'd rather be safe than sorry so imma hold out until someone can school me on these mama jamas. thx all!!!
