business chicago trip

well i drove through naperville and i think the sidewalks were rolled up. def. not condesive to rolling there. It's cool though my littlest kid gave me a nice cough for my trip before i left. and my "friend" got me nothing. any other ideas besides the casino?
 
chicago social advice needed...

Hi all...I'll be in Chicago this weekend, near lincoln park but can certainly hit downtown too. Looking for fun clubs, etc to go to. My friend there is a recent transplant, and she doesn't know anyone too well yet, and I was hoping I could drum up some suggestions of where to go. We're pretty chill ladies, like seeing live music, or laid back lounge atmospheres, we're a bit beyond the clubbing "prime age" but we like to danc too...so we're up for about anything! Thanks BL!

For more info... I'm looking for some family type stuff to do during the day as well...and a few good restaurants, nothing too expensive, near downtown or the union station area for the train back, also fam friendly.
 
such compassion. i thought this was the city of brotherly love. whooh. I just learned its gonna snow. u guys suck. lol
