Bushdoof checklist

Yeah I allways prepare at the last minute..

Grab my tent
Grab my bright fold out chairs
Grab my Tarps and rope
I need to get a nice fuggn rug
Grab my backpcak
in goes more cloathing in case of cold.
towel(good for de mankafing at sunrise)
sunnies
cash for food and entry
Food.. I'm a little mummies boy so sometimes I cook somthing before I go. Other wise its just interesting fun foods
bog roll
a few random trippy things like a dogs leash..
condoms(never know..)
smokes and more smoookes
sissors
PAPERS!!!!(forgotn b4.... Bad thing..)
 
yeahhhhhhhhhhh hardicus- the water mist sprayers work WONDERS in summer festivals, i forgot aboiut those (prob cuz its not summer, yay!) /me scrambles to find hers from last year...
 
insect repellent like rid or some shit to get rid (no pun intended) of mozzies and flies

and don't forget the drugs
 
I've gone through this entire thread and grabbed most items. I'll sort them into a list of essentials and non-essentials. Obviously you can change the list for yourself but this covers me to a T. You guys rock!!!


Essentials:

Water (About 5 litres per person per day IMO)
Lipbalm
Warm cloths, cool cloths, and a change of cloths, socks (lots!)
Sunglasses
Spare socks/jocks etc
Toilet Paper
Torch
Hat/beenie
Blanket (or sleeping bag/doona) to sit on & pillows.
Tent - A hammer & tent pegs
toothbrushes/paste/washing stuff
Melways/a decent map of surrounding area
garbage bags
first aid kit
Blistex. Bandaids. Baby wipes.
Earplugs
Camera
Deodorant (Ed: Please respect OTHER people's space by applying often ;))
personal ashtray
proper coffee (Ed: Sorry, but I consider this essential, other may not ;))
ticket to event


Non-essentials:

Beer
Cordial
Fruit
New clothes for the daytime
Swimmers
Cooking food
Stove/Cooking Utensils
Poi/firesticks
Frisbee
Cricket ball/bat
Chairs
Esky - food/beer
portable table
plates - cutlery
towels
big lamp/torch for campsite
Tarps for under tent and general cleaner than sitting/laying on ground
Very Small Pen.
Decor for your campsite
Baloons (Ed: Can I make a general note here about nangs and baloons etc. I know its popular at doofs, but its still considered very taboo in all but a select few groups, and at the larger festivals there are children, adults etc. Please nang in the privacy of your own campsite, out of view from the general public. Turning blue on the dance floor from sucking in a giant baloon isn't very attractive. Also, PLEASE clean up all those nangs afterwards. Have a dedicated bag for them.)
A bubble blower
A doof book with colured pencils and pens.... so people on acid can draw there crazy pictures and write down their spiritual revelations
Instruments- bongo drums, woodblocks etc. (Ed: Please bongo politely. Nobody likes a guy bashing on drums out of time to the music, louder than the music)
A kalidescope
Tweezers
A camera and pen and paper
a safty pin to pin my keys to me (Ed: Also those skate neck tag things with the removable clips are good)
bouncy shoes
Loads of Cigarrettes (complete with good ashtray. Don't want to be responsible for an early close due to bushfire, burnt cars and smouldering hippies!)
Good CD's
Spiderman costume & one for a friend
Super-Soaker (if not raining)
Hacky Sack
thongs/sandles
pre-mix cans for the morning
papers
marker so you know where your camp is
fine mist spray bottle
some kind of light signal to identify the car at night
preferably an inflatable armchair or otherwise a chair of some description
butter menthols / valerian forte / valium / 5htp / magnesium
scissors
Bottle Opener
someone to shag when it's all over.
backpack

I applaud you on a fine list however I would like to make a formal request that the following items be placed in the 'essentials' list....

1. beer
2. pre-mix cans for the morning
3. someone to shag when it's all over

this is such a great thread, i'm getting ready to go doofing right now and am packing and thought i would re-read this thread and i'm bringing heaps of stuff that i would have forgotten otherwsie :D
 
My check list if I was to go to a bush doof is

Most important make sure I Pack Doofqueen
Lipbalm
Water
Warm cloths, cool clothes, and a change of clothes
Sunglasses
Spare of all underwear
Toilet Paper
Torch
Blanket (or sleeping bag/doona) to sit on & pillows.
tent with all accories
toothbrush
Melwaysgarbage bags
first aid kit
Blistex. Bandaids. Baby wipes.
Earplugs
Deodorant
Camera

yes i am an essential doof item, a must for every doof bwahahahaha =D
 
Doofqueens are definitaly an essential doof item BUT, they *can* be most troublesome!

And don't let their wings get hurt or you'll be in biiiig trouble.

No 1 on everyone elses checklists:

Bring wedding gifts for Sonic Reality(psytye) and Doofqueen at earthcore!

we will be saying our vows at sunrise, with simon posford as the priest of psytrance, pumping out the best sermon in the world!
the infected boys will be my best men........... and sensient is giving me syls hand in marriage!

so, don't forget the gifts!
lots of pills and blotter will do nicely for our reception, which posford will also be playing at, in the afternoon.
some dots would go down nicely as well ;)

oooo......... i can't furken wait for EC!
 
i hate it when people bring their dogs along. don't get me wrong, but seriously give a thought to your pets sensitive ears, the people, lack of water in a drought stricken country. your pets might be smart and sociable but in an earthcore sort of environment they can get scared, disorientated and deafened..... please consider a petsitter


otherwise, bring plenty of suncream.

and even though water is usually provided, it's always good to have your own so you don't have to stand in queues
