I'm at a high dose of mgm daily, upwards of 300mg. Ihad a few failed attempts at quitting about a month ago. I feel like ive successfully managed to take 2-3mg subs before my mgm dose daily and have them somewhat built up in my system, planning on working my way up to 8mg then tapering the mgm down before I jump off completely. I don't know for certain but im pretty sure the subs are working because they are blocking some if the euphoria from the mgm but out if fear of precip Ive been taking the mgm directly after the subs.
Has anyone had success with the Bernese method? I'd love to hear your story and id love to know how bad the wd still is with subs once you're past the risk of precipitated WDs.

I want to come on here and just post my story for any new people looking. I just recently tried the Burnese Method. I'm not going to put my DOC but it's a very long acting one. The burnese method if done correctly, slowly, and patiently can work with little withdrawals, not zero. I started out very, very low on the Subutex 8mg sublingual tab. Figure out the milligrams in mm and you can get those doses right with a very sharp blade. I started out with. 025mg and worked my way up daily to about 3.5mg-4mg. Now, when I got to this range things got difficult because I mistakenly thought that I could just jump up to 6mg. Nope, I had to hold and stabilize on 4.5mg for a few days. The key is stabilizing on that dose for a few days until you feel less and less withdrawals with each dose. This isn't going to be the case for everyone but, this works well with long acting opiates and people who want to still function day to day while doing this. So, if I felt intense withdrawals going up at all I knew that I needed to drop back down a bit and stabilize first. It'll never be zero withdrawals until you hit about that 6-8mg depending on the person maybe higher because the bupe has taken over a majority of those receptors. I knew right away when I was ready to drop my full agonist because I felt normal. No withdrawals, no fatigue, no fog, etc. if you want to do the burnese method in the most comfortable way possible then take your time and stabilize on those doses for a few days. It's not a race. I was able to do everything I normally do comfortably almost the entire time without clonidine as my back up. It wasn't 100% withdrawal free but comfortable and manageable. Not everyone is alike so it may not be the same for everyone. You have to take into account overall health, weight, your DOC, how high you are in mg's and how long you've been using. Good luck to anyone trying this. Remember, studies have shown a 90% success rate and it really does work if done correctly.

Hey dude I’m currently coming off the Hyroxi-MIT tablets also. I think it’s DHM but who honestly knows wtf is in them. I’m not gonna sugar coat it-i quit cold turkey about 5 months ago. It was the most brutal, agonizing, TORTUROUS 2 weeks of my entire life hands down. I am not depressed nor suicidal and there were moments when the depression was so crippling that I actually contemplated ending my life, not joking. Purely from the misery that is Hyroxi withdrawal. Mind you- I quit COLD TURKEY no helper meds, and I went to work everyday (blue collar) and I only told 1 person, my best friend. I went to the gym everyday, prayed, paced around, asked god to spare my life, jerked off, and suffered until, eventually everything went away. I’m reminded of day 6 specifically because that’s the day the severe depression, and severe anhedonia was lifted almost in an instant. I suddenly felt excited and motivated to be social. So I went to the bar and flirted with some girls and got my mojo back that day and after that I felt better each day. My first quit it took me 14 days of hell before I turned the corner. I’m now on day 3 cold turkey but was mostly taking kratom extract with only a little Hyroxi for about a week then nothing so this has been a cake walk in comparison. Just wanted you to know that it is possible. But you have to dig DEEP. Deeper than you ever have before. You have to remind yourself that you’re a strong, brave , savage motherfucker that can do anything he wants, including quitting this drug. You have to be tough as nails and want it more than anything. When you become miserable enough, you will achieve this mindset and nothing will stop you from quitting. God speed soldier and good luck. You’re gonna need it.

Did you try using Suboxone to come off? Im currently trying to switch brands to stop the Hyroxi and use a different type of MGM because whatever is in this Hyroxi shit is heavy duty. Im sure thats not going to help anything with me still taking a different type but I honestly feel like this hyroxi shit might have something else we dont know about.

Nope zero suboxone no SR zero helper meds nothing at all cold turkey the real deal man. I don’t really recommend it tho because you will suffer badly. It feels like quitting IV heroin and antidepressant at the same time. Maybe try subs or at least take some kratom extract for the first few days or something. Some people even go to detox units for this stuff now. Whatever you gotta do just get the hell out of there it’s not good for

I commented on the last post like this.
We did it by accident 20 years ago and it worked great.
When we were t sure if we were sick enough to take subs, would take a teeny tiny piece of a piece. Wait 30-45 min, if no wd, take a little more, just a drop more than the first time. Repeat until well. Might not be Burmese, but it works.
Also I will say if you do out yourself into WD, dear god please take some mgm or something to get yourself out. You can always try again.
Very important your “last dose” isn’t the last of your stash. Save a gram JIC
