HOw long does it take for it to start working?

Usually right away, but for some people one to two weeks. Wellbutrin (bupropion) is different from most anti-depressants in that regard. It generally starts working a lot quicker than the SSRIs, for example. Also, its bupropion, not buproprian. I'm going to edit the title of your thread with the correct spelling for easier searching in the future.

How long does it take for the dieting to start working? Decrease in appetite etc?

Should be pretty quick, around a week or so at the longest.
