Bupropion and Adderall Amazing prolonging effect!!

So Ive been on wellbutrin xl 300mg for about 5 months and occasionally I snort it when im feeling drained to perk me up a bit. Today, after not touching adderall for about 6 months,I decided to take 50mg followed by 25mg a couple hours later, followed by 25mg about 2 hours after that. Once I started to feel it wearing off (headache, loss of interest in things, slight disphoria) I snorted about 75mg of the wellbutrin (or one quarter of the pill) and felt good again. Like really good and the wellbutrin added its own kind of flavor to it.

So I guess my question is has anyone else had this happen to them? what do you guys think causes the potentiation and prolonged buzz?

I'm well aware of the seizure thing but I strongly doubt it will happen based on all sorts of crazy wellbutrin experiments.
 
Was this IR or XR Adderall?

100mg over 4 hrs sounds like a LOT, especially for someone who hasn't taken any in 6 months. Wellbutrin's chemical name is β-keto-3-chloro-N-tert-butylamphetamine, a substituted cathinone and substituted amphetamine. It is a mild stimulant. Its primary pharmacological action is thought to be norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibition. All this is why it synergizes with amphetamines like Adderall and other stimulants.

I would not recommend taking this combination recreationally. Doctors will prescribe Adderall and Wellbutrin together but that is with way lower Adderall doses than you are taking and with taking the Wellbutrin orally, not snorting it. It can increase the side effects of both as well as the "desired" effects. Please be careful.
 
Yeah it sounds like a lot but im hardly phased by the side effects even after this long. Hell, I sleep like a baby on adderall! its easier to focus on nothing and drift into sleep. It was instant release by the way I hate xr.

Although once I start coming down and try to sleep its impossible. And yeah I guess I cant in all good conciousness reccomend the combo since it can cause seizures in some people. I'm just lucky I guess.
