Bupropion 150mg and Alcohol (Need answers fast)

Hey, Bluelighters.

So, here's the thing:

At around noon today, I decided to take 150mg of Bupropion xl (Wellbutrin) that I received from a friend, to see if it'd help me focus in daily tasks. Tonight, another friend is having a party and I usually drink a decent amount at parties. My alcohol tolerance is high so I never really get plastered.

Although the Bupropion hasn't done anything for me and this is my first and only time trying it, would it be okay for me to drink tonight at, let's say, 8:00?

EDIT: I'm a 23 year old healthy male with no seizure disorders or eating disorders.

Yeah it will slightly decrease your tolerance so just drink a few less than normal

I would take it easy on the alcohol, the ideal would be to lay off entirely in my view. To my understanding, both lower the seizure threshold. I had seizures when I drank while on Paroxetine (a different type of anti-depressant, admittedly, but still) and actually wound up attempting suicide. So I may be a little over-cautious about this sort of thing, but I think the HR approach would be real caution.

Bupropion actually adds some nice euphoria and clarity to the alcohol from my anecdotal experiences. Using just 150mg SR shouldn't hurt, the problems begin at >300mg.
