Buprenorphine?

My friend recently gave me a blister of 'Zonor' which the blister reads
" Buprenrphine Hydrochloride USP 0.216 eq to Buprenorphine base ........0.200mg "

All seem totally legit checked out ther website http://www.thepharmaguide.com/content/view/5208/

The thing is i did as he said take 2 sublingually (under the tongue) let them dissolve and see how i felt......

After about 45 mins or so i began to feel a nice mild opiate buzz which lasted for sometime, i was quite impressed :D

Now i understand a lot of these tablets also have naxolone in them (Subutex, Subuxone) as i understand they are in the tablets to kill off any high the user was hoping to achieve.

Now i took 2 x Zonor this morning around 6am and havent felt a thing (im aware they have a long half-life) im also very cautious after having a particulary scary experience on Buprenorphine nearly 2 years ago when i was completely Opiate naive and i ingeseted around 1gram of Bupe and i wa very very poorly, i didnt stop vomiting for around 15 hours, i could hardly walk, i could hardly see, i could hardly speak, i could hardly pee and i was tripping out quie bad and very nearly took my self to the A&E.

Anyway here i am 21 months later with a quite large Opiate tolerance although ive never taken heroin or oxymorphone or hyrdrocodone, but i heavily abused the rest, Oxycodone (oxycontin (OC)/Oxynorm) my favourites i usually use between 80mg-270mg in one go depending on the amount of Oxy i have,i also enjoy DHC (Dihyrdocodeine) and sometimes codeine although io find that a little too mellow.

Anyway i always take my Opiates with Benzos (i know the risks) but i cant do an Opiate without a Benzo in my Body (Temazepam right now) otherwise they just dont work properly for me.

How much Bupe would do me good right now obviously with safety in mind but i also want to feel good.

Just to add - the idea that naloxone has any effect is false; it has a lower affinity for opioid receptors than buprenorphine does so it doesn't get a look-in at all. Pharmacologically, it is a completely pointless addition to Suboxone.. this is the case even when it is IV'd (not that I am recommending IVing bupe!)

It is hard calculating buprenorphine doses using conversion tables due to it's partial agonist activity, but as Oxide says, start low. We can't suggest a dose for you really, sorry.. In fact with buprenorphine less acually can be more - it has an active metabolite, norbuprenorphine, which is a full agonist (like other opioids such as dhc, codeine, oxycodone, hydrocodone etc) where as buprenorphine is only a partial agonist, so doesn't have the same effects. At doses of 2mg or less norbuprenorphine gets a look in and you get full agonist effects where as over 2mg it's all the partial-agonist effects of buprenorphine.
