I dont know what kind of user I would be considered. Im what Iam. I took 300-400mg tramadol for nearly two years daily. No other drugs involved in those two years. I than promptly "overused my stash"
and ran out. I than couldnt bare the withdrawal which is likely nothing compared to other opiates but im not a hardcore user, and I dont deal with dysphoria and physical pain well, emotionally.
So I figured since I had ten 30mg Codeine tablets I would take them over the course of the 4 days following having no tramadol to possibly weaken the withdrawal. I know I wouldnt withdrawl from 4 days of use. Well, the chances would be very slim anyway. I figured I would suffer at least 75% of the withdrawal regardless of the low-medium doses of codeine. I was wrong.
Surprisingly I felt about 25% of the withdrawal. I was relieved somewhat. I only felt slight depression/dysphoria, and a little bit of insomnia and fatigue. A little bit of Melatonin helped me with the insomnia, and for the fatigue I used a bit of Ginseng. These two helped a lot but maybe it was placebo? I know Melatonin is a chemical used by the brain to induce sleep or something similiar of that nature.
Before anyone starts to flame, complain, and report me for flaming back...HaHa.
I know what just clicked in your head, I use chemicals to try to fix everything. F*ucked up I know. Maybe its genetic, my mother, sister, and brother work in nursing homes or retirement centers and all have pain medication addiction. They all use medication/chemicals to try to fix everything wrong with them. Whether it be pain, insomnia, constipation anything. I wish I wasnt like them, sadly. Happy? No reason to flame and complain how I depent so much on chemicals and how thats so low life-ish.
Anyhow, it is now day 5 and no codeine left. I took one 8mg suboxone under the tongue today. Everything went 95% perfect. I dont feel any withdrawal. Im going to closely monitor my buprenorphine use to be sure I dont become dependent upon somthing I know I cant handle its withdrawl. Im going to taper off of the suboxone as well. Im going to use swybs method, he/she seems very knowledgeable. I may even use lower doses as I may not be a semi-heavy user but rather a mediocre user. Whatever you consider the above opiate use, that is what kind of user I am.
TheTruth: Im aware Buph. has been discussed a lot, I looked through a lot of threads and discussed buph. with ebeneezer_geeza another user who used buph. for years and posted numerous posts on the topic.
Thanks for referring me to other threads, I have read about half of the buph. threads that came up on the search. I still felt I wanted and somewhat needed to post questions, concerns, and comments about buph. Just my preference since I couldnt find answers in detail, that I felt were conclusively accurate.
Before you get all flamey, no, I havent read every last one. Thanks also for the advice, however, im very aware that buph. is more potent than tramadol and its withdrawl would be a lot worst. Im monitoring my use very closely, its only less than a week of low-med dose buph use. I shouldnt become dependent in 4-5 days of low-med use.
Swybs: Hello, hope your having a fun day full of all kinds of chemical euphoria. HaHa. Anyhow, did you read my post about my user name changing and such? I hope you understand, I truly meant every word. Im not just trying to get sympathy bullsh*t, or avoid having this username banned. I could care less which user name I use. I just want to show that Im a better person than I represented in the past.
I really got into with naturalone which was a bad idea in the first place. I also was consistenly providing sources, which was a very bad idea. I heard a lot of sh*t from moderators and others for doing so, which was very called for from them. Im glad this board wouldnt allow such violations.
I was in the wrong, I got quite angry on multiple occasions and just out right acted like a 12 year old by spamming and changing usernames.
Im a better person than I presented and I will not let others flame me into a person that I am not. I apologize to all.
I have also noticed its not just me, about 50% of the posts I read, users direct other users to search engines, complain/flame, and post opinion responses to questions. However, the difference was, I reacted to such posts negatively.
I have learned from my mistakes, im ready to present my true self, I think you will find this person beneficial and helpful. If you dont, hey, what the hell at least I wont be violating guidelines or posting sources.
I know this is very offtopic and cluttery, but I feel this post really needs to be posted in a thread not PMed to a few select members, but rather should be seen by all members who I offended and bluelight administration. I will not post offtopic on any other occasion, just this one time for this announcement.
I had some questions, should I post my experience with the buprenorphine here or in experience reports forum? Would it be OK to post a link to it, when I do post it in the experience reports forum?
The only negative side effect im having with the buph. is the horrible taste and nausea its like a feeling like I feel like I may throwup. Much like I feel when I withdrawl from tramadol. 8)
Any tips for riding the nausea?
I think some are confused, I just want to lose my tramadol tolerance, nothing more. I want to continue using tramadol, the only opiate I really enjoy, its not as hardcore and strong as the others. They seem to overwhelm me, im a bit sensetive with all drugs. I want to continue to be able to get just as euphoric as I use to off of it. Basically, I just want to lose my tramadol tolerance completely and continue using it.
Considering my situation, past, and the information I described to you, how long would it take to lose my tolerance to it completely? And, if im taking buph. while im off of it, will I still be able to get euphoria off of it when I begin using again. Of course, I would wait a couple days with no buph before I went back to it.
Regards,
Anthony

I cant really fully enjoy the drug with the nausea. I wonder if im withdrawling? How could I be withdrawling when I feel good mentally? Odd, confusing. Im also sweating a lot with the drug. I know it has stimulating effects so maybe thats why. I feel very very much like a 400mg tramadol dose, but with nausea and less euphoria, as the only differences.
My mother has been on a suboxone program for months now, and she commonly says she feels sick to her stomach. I guess this must be just a side effect of the drug.
Hey people told me to use the edit button more. Im using it and not making seperate post to post the above.
