Buprenorphine patch

Anyone know a simple way extract the bupe out of a patch? I don’t really fancy chewing on it. I was thinking of just soaking it in hot water for a while.

I've never tried but heat would probably destroy some of the active material. If you're going to attempt extraction with water use cold->room temp. water.
