Opioids Buprenorphine - how long do I have to wait still?

So, had no money at all for a few days so for a while I made do with rinsing out used H baggies to inject. I was doing real Afghan H. No fent or zenes. Lab tested. That was like a sort of taper for me. Then switched to Suboxone. I have a large supply of 16/4 mg of them.

First day I did 16mg then less the following days. Always sublingually. I didn't abuse them.
I think I took the buprenorphine/naloxone tabs for maybe 4 days then stopped.

Mainly because of the insane level of constipation and tummy pain they were giving me. I've been doing opioids since 2017 and I know how bad it can get with that but never had it this bad before. Not even with H, no.

It's been at least 4 days now without any buprenorphine and I haven't had withdrawal symptoms so far. I feel ok.

Yesterday I had a look in my beauty bag where I keep the stuff needed for me to inject and found some forgotten H. Maybe half a gram. I shot a little (more or less what I was doing before and I've never increased dosage really) but can't say I felt it? I shot again today and I still don't think I feel it like before I did the buprenorphine. I certainly felt no rush.

Can the buprenorphine be still blocking it? I thought 3 plus days would be enough and, like I said, I only took it for 4 days max. Should I wait till I feel withdrawal symptoms? Would I even get them? I know that buprenorphine has a very long half life so it takes days after continued use to metabolise it completely but it's not like I've been using it for years. Just a few days and surely I can't have accumulated that much buprenorphine to last for days.

I heard if you do the subs for less than a week you won't get addicted to them, so if I know I managed to quit opioids finally without having withdrawal I'll be careful not to get re-addicted and do H daily again. It would be so good if I had managed to get out this without having to suffer shitty withdrawal. Thanks in advance.

but you will still have withdrawal from the heroin. It’s not like buprenorphine is going to reset your brain and that you get to skip all the post acute withdrawal

Esp bc heroin is a full agonist.

It will block for several days, like 5-7 at your dosage and if you just stop now you will have successfully skipped the acute withdrawal but you will still have post acute withdrawal when the bupe wears off. You could take very low doses of bupe to help with that and then just stop and you will be free of opiates. It might take a month or so before you feel mostly or completely normal though.

I don’t care about PAWS. The psychological stuff is not an issue. I have never felt the anxiety etc that many mention. For me it is the acute withdrawal the problem. The main thing I cannot deal with is basically the restless legs. I don’t have them now and I am so happy about that.

If it is 5-7 days then I guess I got to wait longer to get rid of the buprenorphine in my system. Thanks for the replies.

you will likely get some restless legs in PAWS. If you cant deal with it get some kava to relax you.

When I went to detox the last time I waited 4 1/2 days to take a sub and instantly went into precipitated withdrawal. This was my second time going into presip, first time I didn't even wait 48 hours. I thought I knew better than the doctor/nurses. I ended up projectile vomiting and shitting at the same on the main floor because I was just so ill. Ended up being sent to the ER

Moral of the story, there is no number of day you should go by it's the level of how sick you are. Fill out a C.O.W.S chart to help determine. My only advice is if your able to sleep your not sick enough.

I wish you luck but it sounds very strange for me. After some years of opioid habit WD will appear for sure. Stay well dude

Still no withdrawal symptoms at all and it's been 2 weeks or more by now.
I think stopping the buprenorphine before I developed a tolerance to it did the trick. I wasn't gonna believe it but I'm feeling ok. I'm the first one to be in disbelief believe me.
