Buprenorphine Half-life and Elimination

So I took 24 this Friday and then 32mg the next day.

I'm wondering if the total amount will be eliminated at the same rate. Like my 24mg dose has a half life of 37 hours. Does my second dose of 32 have a separate rate of elimination or does the entire amount in my body get eliminated at the same rate? I figured that I'm looking at about 188 hours until it's basically or near eliminated. I'm wondering if my second dose has its own elimination rate.

Does that make sense?

Thanks.

The doses just add on. You will probably be out of withdrawals for 36-48hrs in me experience.

Half life doesn't directly correlate with the duration of the effects of the drug. Again, you will probably be good for 36-48hrs after your last dose, but after that you will need to redose.

Why are you taking so much suboxone ? The ceiling is at around 6-8mgs, any more and you don't increase the effects, just the duration of action. I had a pretty hefty opiate tolerance and I was held by 1-2mgs of bup a day. I find that I feel much better at these low doses, it feels more like a full agonist at 1-2mgs because of the main metabolite norbuprenorphine being a full agonist and at low doses the bup doesn't fully saturate the receptors leaving room for norbup to bind to receptors
