Okay so Saturday, Sunday and Monday I was taking subs first day was 4mg Iv and after that 2mg iv each day. The last 2mg shot I did was at around 5 o'clock yesterday. Will I be able to get high off dope tonight or will the blockage still be present to a large degree? Its been over 24 hours since the last dose and I won't be getting the gear till later today. I only dosed once a day for 3 days so I'm thinking I'll be fine but I just don't want to end up wasting dope.

I was pretty sure its only a little more than 50% stronger which would make it 4mg sublingually?

Sublingual is 40-50% bioavailability. IV is ~ 100 so 2mg would become 4 mg.

No sublingual is more close to 30%, so I guess it would be closer to 6mg if you're basing it at that percentage, but it's still a high dose, not ridiculously high, but if you're using sub recreationally, you don't need to take that much for the desired effect.

Just scale the y-axis to each dose being 2mg (i.e. divide by 8), and then start from 48 hours (orange) to account for the initial Saturday double dose. Sunday would then be the green and Monday (last dose) the blue. To calculate how much you still have in your system just slide down the blue curve with respect to how much time has passed. For example 24h after you last dose you would have just over 24/8=3mg in your system.

For interests sake this build up due to a long half life is how people die on methadone. They wake up the morning after using the day before, don't feel quite so high because they are used to it, and dose again not realizing how much drug is still in their system.

This graph should be posted at the top of the subutex/buprenorphine mega thread (unless it already is)

wat i use as a general rule of thumb because it seems to vary a lot for each person. once u start to feel pretty sick u can ussualy get high. it wont be as high as you would if u didnt take any suboxone at all, but still high enough to make it worth it. For me i can get high after 12-18 hours from my last dose if it is 2-4mg or less. If ive taking 8-12mg ill wait atleast 24 hours, but i generaly wait 24-36 hours just to be safe. It also depends if ur taking suboxone for maintnence (hence taking it everyday and it building up in ur system) or just for a day or 2 randomly.

EDIT:

oh ya, my last does of suboxone was 6mg 23 hours ago, and i did 80mg of oxycontin IV about 30 mins ago and i got a pretty good rush and im pretty high right now
