insuffilated is definitely the way to go if your trying to get the euphoria from it. Onset is still pretty slow but the bioavailability is almost twice as high as sublingual. Its a great way to make what you have last you. It also just plain feels better insuffilated. This is of course subjective, your mileage may vary.
No, it isnt going to be as good as a full agonist such as oxy or even vicodin, not even close. But I wouldnt go as far as to say that its not euphoric or fun, because it certainly is. The euphoria is only there in small amounts, but the buzz itself you get is a good one. It just wont give you the pure unadulterated bliss that a real opiate will. Also keep in mind that this is one of those opiates that tends to be very subjective, kinda like Tramadol and Codeine... some people really like it and some ppl dont get jack shit off of it. Your mileage will vary.
But please do be careful, as ppl have said it is quite potent. My first time taking it I had a pretty decent opiate tolerance, not huge but decent, and took 8mg sublingually and was higher than I had ever been on any opiate in my life. It was WAY too high a dose, and was NOT fun. I went down to 2mg which was perfect for me at the time, and then after a while switched to insuffilated 1-2mg at a time and that was perfect. Ive been on suboxone for a few years and have never needed more than 2mg insuffilated at any given time to feel right.
But as far as someone with near zero tolerance, I suggest you be extra careful. I had two friends now who merely took one tiny line of the stuff, no more than .25 of a mg at the MOST, and were super fucked up puking their guts out and having a horrible night. Ive also had friends with zero tolerance that could take a mg to the dome and be just fine and feeling good. Point is that this stuff can be a bit unpredictable, and once again, your mileage will vary.
But I MUST mention that being on suboxone long term like this was a HUUUUUUUGE mistake! I have tried to quit several times now and it is HARD!!! Your brain literally will become totally dependent on the Subby for dopamine. The initial WD's arent as severe as hard opiates, but the WD period is much, MUCH longer! You will feel like total crap for a good month, and after that will still not feel right for months, sometimes even a year after that.
The aftershock WD's from Subs will haunt your ass for what feels like an eternity, and the intense RLS you will experience will drive you mad and will make it so you will not be able to stay asleep more than a half hour at a time, if your lucky. Imagine having to experience this for a whole year after stopping. If anyone plans on taking this, even for getting off of another opiate, I seriously implore you to make your Subby habit a short one. You do NOT want to be on this stuff for a prolonged period of time and then be stuck like I have been, wondering if you will need to be on it for life just to feel normal.
