So I've been out of my Opana for about 3 days and I go to my clinic tomorrow to get my scripts. I've been surviving on Tramadol surprisingly well. My Opana withdrawals are horrible but for some reason Tramadol usually takes care of most of the bad symptoms. I still get the runny nose, anxiety and insomnia but otherwise I feel fine.
Anyway, today around 5pm I started to feel moderate withdrawal because I hadn't taken any Tramadol in about 24 hours so I just ate 100mg of Tramadol.
Heres my dilemma. I'm in so much pain. Probably the most excruciating pain you could ever imagine. So the tramadol helps with the withdrawals but does nothing for my pain. I always end up finishing my script 5-7 days early and its always miserable. However, that length of time drops my tolerance so much that my first dose after I get my script I take like 1/2 of what I usually do. So my tolerance is extremely low right now.
I'm mad that I dosed that tramadol because I have an 8mg Suboxone. I have only ever taken bupe one other time and it was a long time ago. I've read that bupe is a good pain killer at very low doses but only really works well when your tolerance is very low.
I'm guessing that .5-2mg of bupe, while my tolerance is so low, would give me some pain relief. I know its not very long and I'll be better tomorrow but i just cant stand it im hurting so fucking bad its been 3 days im dying.
So is it alright to take some bupe after I already took some tramadol? Would that send me into precipitated withdrawal or is the tramadol too weak to really do anything? And if i took a small dose of bupe, would it block the effects of my Opana tomorrow afternoon when i fill my script?
