As a last resort I've come to bluelight in hope for answers, I'm an ex addict and have been on buprenorphine for the last 12 months.

I'm from Victoria away working in hobart Tasmania until the 5th of July, my wallet was I believe to stole on Saturday the 29th of June which included my scrip and my take away doses, I've called my Dr in Victoria and cancelled all of my cards but I've been into multiple urgent care/after hours to try and get a replacement but it seems near impossible, I'm on a high dose so without it I'm basically useless, my last resort is coming here to see if anyone can help? Or is it worth trying the ER? Money isn't an issue I just don't have any ID or Medicare card.

I’d skip hospitals.

See a doctor and explain your problem and you’re paying him and he should give u a script.

Make up a story that you return to the area often because of family or work so he sees you as a potential return customer also

I wouldn’t call yourself an addict. If the conversation goes that far just say you were on opioids due to a back injury or whatever disease y might have that is painful…and that the doctors dropped you and forced you onto subs but the sun helps with your chronic pain so u stayed on it.

Thanks for taking your time to respond, I've seen several and spent over $1000 doing so in the last week, unfortunately even if I'd moved here the transfer would take 4 weeks for any scedual 8 drug and no Dr I saw was interested in turning a blind eye, I did how ever manage to get a script for oxyConton, Opana, valium and something else, the first 2 are opioids which I'm on the suboxone program because I had a raging addiction to the for 5 years. I did pick up the script and will continue to use the valium and other thing but I'll be keeping the opiods as evidence and making some phone calls, I'm not in that industry but I don't believe that's something that should be perscribe to an open ex addict.
