Bupe - How long to wait before dosing a full agonist.

hi everyone I have been trying to find the answer to this question here but has come up empty. I am NOT on Bupe maintenance, only take it when other opiates are not available. What I want to know is if I only took 2mg of subutex once a day for 2 days how long will I have to wait to take this oxy 80? please respond, very confused with all the different info on here

You don't have to use swim here as someone will tell you when they provide an answer to your question (I would but have never used sub utex/oxone).
 
This forum does not use swim and they will close it. Most Bluelighters won't even respond except to tell you this.

As stated SWIM is not used here. Besides it pretty much means someone who IS me...

I would recommend leaving at least 48 hours... If not more. Bupe has a ridiculous half life.
 
oh ok thanks i am new to this and was not sure about that stuff. better safe than sorry
 
When was your last dosage? How many hours ago?

Likely if it was over 24 hours ago, you will need to double your dosage for whatever opiate. Subs have a 36 hour half life (which means 36 hours for half the dose to be gone) all together I'm sure that you'll still feel it. 2mg's is barely anything, and taking into the factors of 2 mgs/day over the course of 2 days, with a 36 hour half life gives you roughly 2.5mg's of active bupe in you right now (roughly, I didnt actually do the math just a guesstimate)

Which means you'll be fine taking it, it'll decrease the euphoria for sure, but you'll still feel it.

I'd wait at least a full 24 hours minimum. 72 hours is best though (3 days)
 
i took it at 11 am yesterday, was waiting till 11 am today no matter what but figured id get some info from people with exp. i was on suboxone 2 years ago to come off heroin then broke my back last year causing the prescription of oxy 80s. i want to add i injected the subutex, not sure if that makes a difference but i heard that iv the drug doesnt last as long. thank you for all your help and for accepting me to bluelight even after using the acronym swim
 
So I just shot the oxy 80 (op brand) and got a serious rush and am nodding like a mufukka. 48hrs my ass
 
Going from bupe to full agonist isn't a problem. It will probably just take more of the full ag to get high. I ran out of bupe early and did smack not even 24 hours later. I just had to do a little more and it didn't work as good as usual. Then by the next day it worked regularly.
 
Everyone is different. Some people can feel a full agonist fully after 24 hours, some take 48, some even longer. Glad it worked for you though!

As you have now taken the oxy I think this thread has run its course..

BTW, shooting oxy generally isn't worth it - the oral bioavailability is really high, most people don't get much of a rush and shooting pills is risky. Make sure you use a micron filter if you are going to do it or the fillers/binders can accumulate in your lungs causing an irreversible lung disease called talcosis/pneumoconiosis.
