Bunk or fake heroin?

Yesterday I decided I wanted to experiment with H for the first time. I have a very low opiate tolerance, I've experimented with weaker opiates, such as hydrocodone, but only a couple times. I don't know any heroin dealers in my area, so I went down to the ghetto and bought a bag for $20. I have no idea exactly how much, or what was in the bag, but I was told it was H. It contained a small amount of light-brown powder.

When I got home, I made up a small line of about a 1/5th of the powder and snorted it. After about 20 minutes, I started to feel slighty relaxed and warm, but the effects were very subtle. After waiting a little longer, I snorted the rest of the powder. 30 minutes later, I'm still not feeling much, just a slight euphoria, but nothing compared to a good dose of codeine. The "high" only lasted about an hour or two. As soon I started coming down, I began to feel extremely anxious and depressed, similiar to a coke or meth comedown. It took me about 2 hours to feel normal again.

Does anyone have any idea what might have been in the bag? Was I ripped off? Could it have been fake heroin, or just very low purity? I don't understand why I barely felt anything, because my tolerance is very low. Codeine and hydrocodone hit me very hard in small doses, so why didn't I feel much off this "heroin"? It was very disappointing and a waste of money, I think I'm gonna leave heroin alone from now on.

yeah, we can't tell you what it is, but it sounds like you just need more than what you bought.

and for that price, you should've gotten at least two bags.

generally heroin is sold street level in bags that are worth half of what you typed (cannot talk prices, but I think the line above this should give a hint to what I'm saying)
 
If the only other opiates you've experimented with are codeine and hydrocodone, and even those in small doses, then you DEFINITELY should have felt the heroin in your system. If the stuff you had purchased would have been legit heroin (and NOT cut to shreds with who knows what) you for sure would feel much more intense than you described.

I agree with the above posts; your smack was cut...a LOT. A first timer would/should without a doubt felt MUCH more than you described. So sorry you got screwed :(
 
due to the price you paid and stuff, I"m guessing dude just saw you comin' from a mile away and took advantage of you. I hope you didn't tell dude thats all you had tried or anything.

I guess just try looking more junky-ish, haha. just act like you know what you're doing and stuff.
