Anyone follow the Bundesliga here?

I'm not even gonna begin to pretend I'm well versed in the history of the league, but during the 2010 World Cup I began watching the German broadcasts of some of the games in an attempt to brush up on my German. I love the game itself and I've wanted to be fluent in German since high school, so why not tie the two together to make the transition easier? Hence my new found appreciation for the Bundesliga.

That said... due to semi-familiarity in some of the players and accessibility of the games, I've taken a liking to Werder Bremen. I don't get to watch the games when they're on, however, so I'm likely to be a couple days late on the response to the games (assuming there's any conversation here in the first place).

Vfb Stuttgart!! I hope I am not in for another season of disappointment. I also just started watching more Bundesliga last year, and it was not a pretty year for my chosen team. So far they are looking pretty decent though, and the new Japanese dude has a hell of a shot. I am a Stuttgart fan because my girlfriend was born there, and it is the capital my adopted German peoples, die Schwaben =).

the Bundesliga is awesome.Unlike my country or even italy and spain where u know 3-4-5 teams will take the championship(here in greece its just 1!olympiakos!),in germany the league is worth watching.I support the current cahmpions just cause they wear yellow and black but i also dig their main rivals Shalke. When i used to play bets i used to know every lil bit of info about all their teams. Now i dont even know about bayern munich's stars:(

Borussia Dortmund will win it again. Lost Nuri Sahin to Real Madrid, but their core is still intact from last year, and theyre going to be world class in a few years. Really good team. Shinji Kagawa and Mario Gotze to be the ones to watch. Also Son Heung-Min might make his break for Hamburg this year, 18 goals in 9 pre-season games for them, so hopefully he can build on that during the proper season.

Kagawa looked good in their first game. He had a handful of shots that just missed the goal, but man... some of em were pretty shots, just a bit off their marks.

played with a bunch of Germans yesterday, all very proud Bavarians who insisted Bayern will win it :p

I know it's a little different, but I often insist that my local teams will win a championship and they haven't won one since 1964. Then again, I'd put more stock in what the Bavarians say about Bayern than what I'd say about Cleveland. :D

My torrent source for Bundesliga games is currently out of commission. Supposedly it will be 2 weeks (this last weekend hopefully being 1 of those weeks). So I finally gave in and read the results of the Werder v Freiburg game. I've not read the review or anything yet, just saw the score. I have the Bundesliga highlights for last weekend... but they're in standard definition. In this spoiled ass day and age? STANDARD... definition? Ugh. I gotta do what I gotta do, I suppose. I'll probably get to watching the highlights later, though. I've been putting it off until I could watch the game, but since I've not had any luck in finding an alternate source, I suppose I'll have to give in. Anybody happen to catch that game? Or any games really.
