Prior to trying weed I read a lot of information here on BLUE-LIGHT and many other sources. As I continuously read over and over the same things from thousands of different people "Lol weed is not a drug" "It does no harm" "HIGH 24/7" ECT. I made a conclusion after a few weeks of research that this drug was in no way dangerous thanks to the THOUSANDS of post's I read of how safe it is and amazing.

One month later
Everyone was right in the fact that I had no physical withdrawal systems. However, I have become completely paranoid (Sober), I now find it difficult to remember anything, I find it harder to comprehend things, lost all motivation for college work including forgetting almost all material I've learned in the past year, and I have this weird breathing pattern I've never experienced before. I smoked about two weeks non stop, and for the past two weeks off the weed all these problems appeared. I feel like shit everyday because i'm paranoid mainly and I don't even talk to my friends anymore.

I might go see a psychologist. I never had these problems before trying weed and this has caused major depression in my life. Any help would be appreciated.

I eat healthy to the full extent of the word, and exercise 2-3 times a week lifting weights.

Try to do at least 45 minutes of cardio a day, plus the weights.

I find that lots of exercise plus healthy diet (and lots of water) helps flush your body out, and its quicker to return to baseline.

You still may experience some psychological issues, but you gotta deal with your own brain.

I don't think you read about how weed is harmless on here. It's still a drug, and many people have problems with psychological addiction and experience some withdrawal symptoms. If on BL as a whole you mean it's played down a bit, that's because many people on here have gone through things like benzo and opiate withdrawal which have nasty (benzos, fatal) symptoms, where cannabis does not. Especially if it was only a month ago that you tried it for the first time, you either had a bad reaction or a lot of this is in your head. Check the CD Directory in my signature for some info on unusual reactions or how to take a break...but, nowhere on BL does it say 'POT IS NOT A DRUG ITS HARMLESS", or we wouldn't have a section for cannabis on a harm reduction website. Closed.
