Opioids Bulk preparation of Injectable Oxycodone

SWIM was curious about preparing larger volumes of oxycodone that's ready to be injected and storing it in sterile bottles or vials. Before anyone talks about nothing being sterile I would point out that SWIM has access to autoclaves and medical equipment or supplies that are sterile or help keep the supplies sterile.

It seems that by preparing lets say 20-30ml(cc) of injectable oxycodone at 60-100mg/ml, would not only cut down on the amount of time spent having to prepare an injection every time you do it, but just as important or more important is that it's possible to 1.reduce cost 2.reduce waste eg. mg of lost oc, need more supplies, etc. 3. Create a more precise and clean product for personal use.

It's possible that SWIM hasn't thought of or doesn't know about any issues that would arise out of using this technique so feedback would be appreciated.

BTW, this may have been discussed somewhere else in this forum but I could not find anything, so if there is a discussion on this topic anywhere else I would appreciate a link.

thats not entirely true. the reason why this shouldnt be done is because 1, the solution would have to be kept in extremely sterile conditions. Or else it could grow a mold or fungus or something. Also, Oxycodone and other opiates tend to break down after a long time in solution. They are much more stable in pill form which keeps them dry and able to be stored for months at a time. It could be done on a small scale, creating a vial with like 10ml, with each ml having a certain amount of mg. But of course it must be assumed that the starting oxycodone is from pills yes? i doubt u have access to pharmaceuticaly pure Oxycodone Hydrochloride, so if using the pills then you WILL have other shit in the solution no matter how fine u filter it, youd have to do an entire acid/base extraction to get reasonably pure Oxycodone. So if u create a solution from pills, your going to have a water solution with Oxycodone, Talc, perhaps sum gums or other time release mechanisms as well. I dunno it doesnt sound good to me, especially on a large scale. Id just stick to what you know, plus isnt fixing up half the fun? lol

If you look at the ingredients in most oxycodone tablets there are many things that shouldn't be left to sit in a solution for a long time so if your using pills extracting the oxycodone would be the only somewhat safe way to do this. Bacteriostatic water should be used to stop the growth of bacteria getting into your solution.

mew4, first to clarify, yes SWIM is talking about extracting from Oxy IR tabs. SWIM was also talking about having enough prepared liquid for 3-5 days, not months and weeks worth.

SWIM appreciates your reply this was the kind of info he was looking for. It would be beneficial to get more specific info about stability and potency over time, including effects of differing storage methods.

In regards to bacteria or fungal contamination that's not something that would be a big concern since the technique and equipment being used is sterile, including the environment that it would be prepared in. Additionally since storage would only be 5 days max, and the storage environment would be cool and dry the likelihood of a microorganism contamination would be extremely small.

It's possible to get a solution that isn't contaminated by particulates, especially if heat isn't being used to dissolve the OC. With Sterile syringe filters that filter .2µm and smaller particulates it's possible to get that solution clean, however it can be tedious and a little technique sensitive. This is one of the reasons why preparing a larger amount of solution should be beneficial since a person is more likely to spend more time filtering and ensuring that the solution is clean than if they had to do the same thing every single time the prep a single shot.

You sound very knowledgeable, I would appreciate if you can find anyone who has written about doing this. I've searched and searched and i cannot find a thing.

Bacteriostatic water, micron filter, store in cool dry place, etc.

Oxycodone solutions should be more than stable enough for 5 days if prepared & stored properly.

Most drug addicts don't have access to a lab and the sterile equipment needed that's why you don't hear of this often.

BL already has a mega thread on creating a vile of dissolved pills to last a week or so. Suboxone pills are used in the explanation but I'm sure the oxycodone IR would work for this process its the oxycontin pills that contain milk products and I wouldn't want that in a solution even micron filtered I would be weary. The oxycodone I wouldn't leave any more than 5 days though.

A bit off topic... Am I correct my understanding that heroin, genuine diacetylmorphine HCL dissolved in water fairly rapidly degrades to morphine? This being why I never pre-loaded dope rigs for travel, coke yes, heroin no.
