Your eyes can still get as red as the devil's dick. It's not just smoking that causes that. Expect a big body high as well, if you put a good amount of nug into the batch. Eat them on an empty stomach, you will be glad you did...makes the high come on a lot faster.
Also, it's similar to smoking, but also entirely different. If you make brownies strong enough you can kind of have a trip of sorts. On 4/20 a couple years back I knew a kid who had to be taken out of school in a wheel chair because he was too high to walk. Luckily he was able to say he had the flu or some shit so he didn't get in trouble. But yea, you can get pretty fucked up (sometimes for like 4-8 hours) on brownies.
As for recipes, just use the search engine or try Google, there are loads of different ways to cook bud floating around the internet. I would recommend making cannaoil, as I have found that to work perfectly in the past. I had 2 brownies last night, and I will have at least 1 tonight.
The way I do it is: 20 grams mid grade pot, ground up to a powder. (and usually a few grams of chron, but that's not necessary)
Put the ground up nug (no seeds please) into a pan, simmer in natural cooking oil for 15 to 20 mins on low heat. If there is smoke coming up, you are burning the weed and need to turn the heat down. Take the oil off and run it all through a strainer. Use a spoon or something to make sure you press ALL of the oil out of the nugs (when you're done the ~20 grams you used should only have about 1/8th left, the rest will be dissolved into the oil which by now is a dark green/brownish color.) Let the strained oil cool down to room temp, then cook the brownies as you regularly would, adding in the cannaoil instead of regular oil. This traditionally for me makes about 16-20 good sized space brownies.
