Opioids Buccal Fentanyl to Oxycodone conversion

Anyone have this information? I remember reading something about fentora (which relates to the 800 mcg Actiq I used today in terms of ROA) somewhere but I dont remember what it said or where it was.. If I had to guess I would say 800mcg of actiq to someone with a tolerance such as myself feels somewhere in the ballpark of 40 mg oxycodone. Maybe less... Maybe like 4 or 6 hydrocodone. I'd like to know to get an idea of how much substance I've ingested today in terms I can understand (oxycodone).

A quick google search easily turns up this info. http://www.globalrph.com/narcotic.cgi

800mcg fentanyl (which is .8mg) is equal to ~120mg oxycodone with a 25% cross tolerance reduction.

Remember to put in as mg's and not mcg when converting.
 
^the cross tolerance is only going to be a major consideration if he's dosing the fentanyl daily.

So the conversion without factoring for cross-tolerance (0% reduction) would be 160mg but that's for *IV* fentanyl which has a 100% bioavailability. The buccal route has a 50% bioavailability so it'd be 80mg of oxycodone... that converter also is for DAILY dosage, usually for round-the-clock medication so it might take half-life into consideration and it actually might be less than 80 since oxycodone has a much longer duration of effects.

40mg might be on the low side, but I'd probably start at less than 80 to be safe.

Keep in mind that equianalgesic converters compare pain relief which generally but not perfectly corresponds to the high. Many people consider fentanyl less recreational at equianalgesic doses and those conversions are averages so your mileage may vary considerably.

Where can i get good advise on how to get my self down i dosage?I misscalculated and then some so i have to go from 7 40mg oxy to 4 40mg oxy.Ihave some kodein tablets and some diazepam and nitzpm and a little clonezepam, we have a major shortage on hash an weed......if that wasn`t the case.I would not be asking this question........

I need advice, i have to go from 7 to 4 40mg oxy i one day, but i have some kodein pure tabs. and a little benzo......but ther`s a weed and hash shortage.i would not be asking for any help,but without the weed or hash i`m not looking forward to this at all...anyone who has any magic advice......?

^ this would be considered thread-jacking and its bad form, as is posting multiple times in a row like that. If you're the last poster and want to add info, simply hit edit and add it :)

My first advice would be to start your own thread in the Basic Drug Discussion forum. Codeine and benzos can certainly help but don't overdo the benzos. In Basic Drug Discussion there is a handy converter so you can see how much codeine (roughly) will hold you.

personally there's some things you don't allow on the site that could be very useful just sayin and i find that a lolly pop of fent and that dose is like 80mg of oxy again just sayin
