buccal absorption of non-complexed 25b

I have a few grams of 25b obtained from a reputable supplier for testing. I've had previous experience with most of the 2c family except 25b/c.

I currently have 120mg diluted in 3ml of whole grain alcohol. I initially started with 50mg and have worked my way up to 120mg with no effect whatsoever sublingually. I have placed and order for HPBCD but in the mean time I would like to test this product. So far 1.2mg per "hit" has no effect and I would like to hear others experiences with non-complexed sublingual administration of 25b
 
I believe I read that there was ruffly a 40% absorption sublingually without complexing but if I were to go with a 500ug dose 1.2mg should be sufficient to have a noticeable effect.
 
Do you have the HCl salt or free base? The HCl salt of an NBOMe has nearly the same bioavailability as the HPBCD complex, probably 80% or more. About 500 ug of the salt buccal or sublingual is enough for me. For the free base, complexation is essential because of low water solubility. Alternatively, dissolve the free base in water with some acid, even vinegar will work.
 
Yeah, it sounds like you may have freebase. Try putting it in some room-temperature water and shake it for several minutes, if it's freebase it won't dissolve at all and you'll just see the powder floating around in the water and settling out to the bottom no matter how much shaking you do. (HCl does this too, because it's poorly soluble in water, but some of it will dissolve gradually and the amount of powder visible should decrease as you continue shaking, until it all goes into solution.) If you do have freebase, then you can add some vinegar like tryp2fun said and it should dissolve then.
 
I have made a total of 3 droppers. One has 6mg in a 3ml 50/50 solution of a water/ethanol mix and the other two are 6 and 12mg in 3ml of ethanol.

My supplier assured me it was an hcl just as the 25i had been from my previous order but I also suspected that it was a freebase because the product did not dissolve fully in the 50/50 solution until heated and returned to the previous cloudy state after cooling back to room temperature.

I have tested one drop from both of the ethanol mixes and have had no effect whatsoever.

I will pick up some vinegar shortly for the 50/50 mix and see if there is any change.
 
How much vinegar should be used? I added 60mg of 25b into a dropper and started dropping ruffly 1/30th ml drops of distilled white vinegar in and shook it after each one until I had reached ruffly 1ml. I did not notice any apparent change in solubility while shaking.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 1ml of vinegar should be enough to fully dissolve the 25b, correct? Should the vinegar be heated?
