Heroin BTH First Time

My cat just IVed black tar heroin for the first time and it didn't get high at all. Maybe felt a little bit different but after about an hour just sleepy. Did it do something wrong? It has very little to no tolerance for opiates.
 
Dont give drugs to your cat.

How are we supposed to know if you did something wrong if you don't provide any details?

Anyway, lots of people don't feel very high their first time. Have you used opiates before? The "high" is not super intense, it's often kind of an acquired taste. Feeling sleepy, pleasant and warm. Also who knows how pure it was or how much you used (or whether it was even real). My recommendation: stay far far away from this drug, especially injecting it. Read some of the stories on here about heroin addiction.

Tar sucks, it's a waste of $$. Get some east coast powder.

Everything in this post is spot on. Also, we don't use SWIM, or "My Cat". None of that nonsense, please read the guidelines.

As for your post, have you IV'd opiates before? Also, did you experienced a rush of any sort? With no tolerance, even pretty shitty heroin should give you a rush, unless its completely bunk stuff, and you would almost certainly know if you missed because from my experience with tar, it burns like hell if you miss.

You're cat should start by shaving the fur away from the intended injection site. Then, it should prep the area where it intends to inject with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer like "Purell", never regular rubbing alcohol!

Also, Catnip and opiates is a dangerous mixture because catnip can act as both a CNS depressant or a stimulant depending on dosage, so make absolute sure your cat wasn't using catnip before injecting BTH!

It's been proven that cats don't react well to BTH(pm me for sources). It makes them become sexually agressive and purr excessively. Next time, try to acquire some powder heroin, cats(and hedgehogs) seem to prefer it. good luck!
