brown mdma?

I got ahold of this brown mdma. It smells like black licorice.
I didnt think mdma was brown. Does anyone have experience taking this color and smell of mdma?

No one can tell you what it is. You need to buy a test kit, and test kit.

Pure MDMA is white, what you have is either dirty MDMA or something else entirely.

MDMA powder and crystals range quite a bit- the only way to be certain of what you have is through using a reagent test kit.
