KBr and NaBr were, in rather older times than we are now, used as sedatives, I am fully aware they are not at all recreational, but how efficient, compared to say, promethazine, diphenhydramine, etc, or benzos are they as sleep aids?
Do they have any tranquillising/relaxant (again, not recreationally, but purely physiologically) effects? the reason I'm asking, is because normally, I ALWAYS feel jittery, I cannot take sympathomimetics suchas ephedrine (not for abuse purposes, but for nasal decongestion), and very rarely take amphetamine/meth/ethylamphetamine for this reason, so I am attempting to find some sort of rotating schedule so that I am never without some sort of drug to reverse this.
I was thinking something along the lines of rotating a low dosage of an opiate (either morphine or dihydrocodeine), a benzo (nitrazepam), and a sedative antihistamine (promethazine), and hopefully, a few other classes of downers, with dissimilar modes of action, so as to avert feeling like I am permanently tweaked out.
Funny enough, the stimulant 2-aminoindan which I have been currently trialing, seems to help, but after insufflating 2x 50mg over a single day, once in the morning and once in the mid-afternoon, I ended up taking 50mg nitrazepam and 25mg promethazine, and still being fully alert and wide awake, when normally 10mg would have me sleeping properly.
Alcohol is out of the question, as I both dislike drinking, and it hepatotoxic effect, GBL is alright for low-dose occasional use, but again, like benzos, its a GABA agonist, and I have, due both to natural tolerance, and former addiction, a pretty hefty tolerance to GBL/GHB that makes it unsuitable for sleep, but alright once in a while recreationally, as the dose I have to take to induce sleep causes the dopaminergic rebound effect and wakes me up, needing a further dose, and I have NO desire to go through acute GBL withdrawal again, ever
So, would including bromides perhaps help, as I wish to build a tolerance to none, but gain the effects of any, on a rotating basis.
What sort of dosage with the bromides are we talking? as I have easy access to any grade, from ACS to pool cleaning NaBr and KBr.
