my new life
is all but complete

with a conversation
filled night
spent dissecting
the twitch in my eye
and the scuffle in your voice

and i dont know
how
i am supposed to feel okay
when i know
that you are out there

enticing other girls
with the same lies
that i truly
wanted
to be mine


(its basically like this

im a broken mess of a girl
who has begun hating
the sound of her own breath

because she fully understands

that she is on her own

in too many respects)
