Not justified by poem or rhyme
Just a brief tale of my time
Put on this earth for reasons unknown
I’ve had to learn to stand on my own
Father was a cocaine cowboy and a hired gun
Hidden and left alone to be the forgotten son
He was always too busy having his own fun
Mother loves me but still I was abandoned
Though I have suffered much but still I have grown
Many lessons learned yet I still stand alone
Nomadic and free to roam
My heart still longs for a place to call home
A great heart and good looks can take you far
But no plastic surgeon could remove this scar
Endure I do still
Finding no cure in any pill
Now living life for more than a thrill
No longer blaming my parents for what is to endure still

Thank you sweetpea! I rarely reply because when I usually write these in a furious spurt of emotion. I feel usually embarassed about expressing myself. If it wasnt for bluelight it would more than likely just be bottled up and kept secret... Im just greatful for bluelight and its members. Everyone thus far has been like you, very nice!
