Hey everyone. First post here at blue light. Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum or not, but here goes:
Some background details:
OK, lets say someone broke their finger in the last bone portion (the 'tuft' under the finger nail) area. This happened 2 days ago. There was a lot of swelling and obviously broken blood vessels. In the first 12 hours or so, the whole finger turned dark purple on the bottom where the break occurred, and the purple has traveled down the finger, but has stopped now for the last 24 hours before reaching the hand. There was also a large cut on the topside right by the finger nail, but no stitches were required, and no anti-biotics prescribed.
Went the doctor yesterday, and a broken finger was confirmed. A splint was prescibed for 6 weeks, with a follow-up xray in 2 weeks. The doctor also prescribed vicodin for pain to be taken as needed.
The dilemma: (NOTE: Obviosly, I know that speed and vicodin don't mix, and taking them 2gether isn't recommended. But that's not my question).
Would there be any major risks of doing crystal meth (w/o vicodin) tomorrow? Or would this be too dangerous and be taking a big risk of causing any serious complications to the injury described above? (ie - gangrene, blood poising, abnormal blood pressure causing blot clots/issues, etc...) I know, obviously, that more time would be preferable to allow better healing. BUT ...
This particular "speed party" has planned for quite some time, and it would a HORRIBLE shame to have to miss out if you know what I mean! It would MAJORLY SUCK! (btw, the 'stuff' is pure ICE rock!)
Anyone done speed a few days after breaking a bone and having broken blood vessels/major swelling?
Thanks.
