illuminating hopeless odds,
your delusions overflowing,
now I'll tell you something
that I've never said before
looking out my window
and I see the world go by
you're sinking even deeper
and I could not tell you why
I even tried to help
you always got your way,
you kneel before an altar
and you throw it all away
breaking down doors that
have left me reaching blindly
for my destiny,
you're failing me
overcoming hopeless odds,
stopping now is not an option,
and there is no end in sight.
like a window to my soul, bane of my existence,
riding on my shoulders like a window, the future sets me free
the calm before the storm will help me to succeed
