I saw this a few minutes ago on another forum. Wow, that's shocking. I think the poppy seed one is even more ridiculous though.

Iam truly and utterly disgusted at this. I cant even describe in words how i would feel if i was prosecuted for a piece of cannabis that wasnt even visible to the eye. Dear god.

Id like to know how you look suspicious carrying something you arent aware that you are even carrying! More like hey, lets find something on this guy. Cause no doubt you could find something like this on pretty much every person, and no doubt someone who has touched drugs but has no intention of smuggling.

Im really glad i read this though, cause i definitely would fit the suspicious profile... im fucking outraged by this!

I just can not understand why these countrie insist on pretending that it is 2,000 years ago. Well, except for when they want to use technology to find a spec of weed smaller than a grain os sugar. Then all of a sudden it is 2008 again. I hope Allah smites them all. Smites them good.

I thought it was proven that DMT was produced in the brain, Dr. Rick Strassman certainly seemed to think so in his book 'DMT the Spirt Molecule'. Has this since been refuted?
 
This has got to be the one of the most fucked up news articles ive seen on here. UAE must be the country with the most backwards drug laws i think.

its all so sad that dubai is also one one of the if not the richest "civilised/westernised" country/state in the middle east... mind you some countries you can get the death penalty (not for a speck or a seed tho.... granted...)....

These countries are serious. You'd have to be insane to go there. They don't want you there, and they will kidnap and extort you. In all seriousness though, FUCK the UAE. I used to want to go there, and now I never will. I would have probably spent some good money there too, I'm the type that brings back souvenirs and shit for all my friends and expensive shit to give to my girlfriends. I like to save up for a while so I can stay in a nice place and spend money doing what I want etc. I'm hoping that many more like me will also be turned off from visiting this country, a discreet threshold will be reached, and they will realize that they are badly losing income from the tourist industry. That would be nice.
 
I seriously wanted to go there until I read this topic.
Was conscious about dope being super illegal but I was planning on bringing heaps of painkillers.....
