Yeah this is a fine example of a regime not to support with your tourist cash.

Makes me wonder how many other super drug-unfriendly countries are going to invest in such top of the line drug particle detection technology. Singapore comes to mind.
 
This has scared me and alot of my friends away from travelling to Dubai, I think it is outrageous. Why and how could you put someone away for this?
 
I wonder how many tourists go on holiday though compared to those that are there for business. I bet they get most of their tourism money from rich businessmen/women and don't really give a shit about other tourists. Though the guy with the melatonin was apparently head of technology for endemol. I bet they hate big brother though, maybe thats why they got him!
 
I think there onto something guys. What if you got 10,000 people gave each 0.01 grams of weed, and got sent them to a country, ud end up with 100 grams of weed!!!!!

And 10's of thousands of air fares........
 
yup none of me and my mates will go there thats for sure, ill enlighten anyone i know planning on a trip there about these great laws.
 
Every report I read about tourists getting arrested in Dubai really makes me stop and think. This shit is absolutely insane.

I will never ever ever go that country. I probably have .003g of bud on every piece of clothing and shoes that I own. I'd be willing to say that a large amount of people that even step foot in my house leave with .003 stuck to the bottom.

I am one who often complains about the US drug system and their war on drugs; but this, this is way more insane! At least in the US they will not keep a man with a family and kid in jail 4 years for something that could have easily been an accident.
