Anyone know what airport security policy is concerning prescription medications? If you have properly packaged prescription meds with a seemingly legitimate tag with your name on it etc. but don't actually have a prescription for them would I be right in assuming your pretty safe seeing as they're not gonna contact your GP to verify? I'm going to France today and from what I remember French airports have insane security, even worse than the US, they pat you down and make you empty everything in your pockets so I'm gonna just take out my meds with everything else and lay them on the table.

i'd recommend against doing this. the chances of getting caught may be slim, but it would create a real problem in your life if things did not go to plan. you'd be kicking yourself about that one.

and you can't ask about strategies for breaking the law on bluelight.

edit:
i don't know what your DOC is, but once you get to france they have all the otc codeine/ethylmorphine pills you want. no other active ingredient in 'em. i'm sure that is not whatever you want to bring, but it's legal.
