What is your opinion on swazi south african weed?It may not be fluffy but it does the job, don't you think?8)

Never tried brick weed, but I have smoked some ugly outdoor that was said to be from Jamaica and it was ridiculously potent.
Aren't Jack Herer, White Widow and skunks usually higher end genetics? I always associated brick weed with an unknown low-quality outdoor like ruderalis.

Used to get it a lot few years back can be hit and miss but when its good its good.........you wouldn't believe how cheap it was.......(this and Thai stick is all we used to get back in the day)

"Brick" weed can be plenty potent but, sadly many times it is crap. Looks are not everything and often doesn't play a role at all. I recently saw some local outdoor test 35% thc... that blows away 99% of the indoor (and out) that I see. But, it looked like crap....

I never see brick weed though.... other than high quality that forms a brick do to how its wrapped and the resin content.

I like it, the lower-grade stuff is nice and mild, the stronger shit can be quite inense actually, especially at the beginning - a heavy, couch-lock experience. Not quite as pleasant as chronic, but it does work well. Well it's all I usually smoke here in SA, chronic is too expensive for me.

35% THC, that is fucking crazy! I really don't get how numbers this high are possible, when you factor in the tens of other cannabanoids into the equation the plant would be like 40% cannabanoids. Not calling bullshit but that is bloody incredible. I can't imagine there is a practical difference between 25% and 35% THC other than collecting a lot more kief/hash when busting up the weed, unless you are just cramming straight buds into a bowl.

I might have to call BS on 35%. That amount should not only requires a copy of the lab report with each batch, but should require a notarized letter of authenticity with 2 neutral witnesses' sigs.

Usually the very highest I see is between 18% - 24% at max. The highest ive ever seen - andr this batch did come with a proof of authenticity - was 27.4% Mendocino grown Kaia Kush.

Remember kids, THC ain't everything! A landrace 17% Thai knocked me on my ass so hard I never want to hit it again. On the other hand an 18% Jack Herer brought me down to the lovely world of sativa dominant coma town. To really find the right strain look up ALL the cannabioids.

Agreed, 35% THC is way too high it's doubtful that it is an accurate figure. Gotta question the labs that are producing these numbers. Either their incentive to produce these numbers is screwed up, or their technique in analyzing material is.

Ok you guys can all doubt all you want.... I can give you the name of the cross and the testing facility that tested it. You can then call them and confirm.... It is outdoors and one of the highest numbers I have personally seen. The testing facility is very well known and tests for the medical industry. I have no reason to spread a false claim. It is not even my strain so why would I make it up.... Northern california, the emerald triangle in particular has tons of EXPERT growers. Upper 20's is not uncommon for people who have perfected their own crosses through the years on the hill. If you doubt it then you seriously don't understand the experience growers here have. I have yet to hear anyone on this site discuss testing of their strains but, they are so quick to shoot down a proper test result. Yes, I agree I was shocked when I saw the results. But, they are certainly legit and the grower in mention is certainly an expert.

bENNY- Yes 24% is generally a high thc content though these days emerald triangle growers (as well as others) have no problem achieving mid 20's (even upper 20's) I see it all the time. I do not see 35% all the time (more like never). My indoor tests average of 22-26.5% thc. Some of my strains are not grown for thc content and of course those 1:1 ratios are more like 8% thc. Of course thc content is not everything. The ratio is the most important. As for your comment on 17% knock you on your ass... well that is your opinion and tolerance. There are lot's of people who have extreme tolerances and require higher cannabinoid levels for medical relief AND pleasure/recreation. It is not uncommon for me to smoke a gram of wax a day that tested in the upper 80's into low 90's for thc. Though I have cut down my tolerance a decent bit in the past few weeks. Thats what happens when your winter indoor runs out before your outdoor finishes up lol

Esinfinite- well it is not a mistake and the testing facility is one of the more popular ones in the medical industry. There is nothing wrong with their testing technique. I have had many many strains of mine tested by them. This was not my strain or grow... It is not like every strain that comes out is 35%... that is a rare test result for flower. But, I saw it with my own eyes and smoked it as well. Have you tested any of your strains? If so where and what results did you achieve? If you havent tested many batches of your strains then don't knock down someone elses achievements. I gain nothing for posting a false result. I was just as shocked as many of you were. The cross is secret due to obvious reasons. Such as, the producer has worked on this strain for 15+ years and clearly worked it to perfection.
In my experience it is much easier to achieve upper 20 % even into low 30's with outdoor vs. indoor. Indoor is much much prettier on the eyes but, there is no better light producer than our sun. Sun grown can do some pretty amazing things such as yield over 10 lbs a plant. It is not the first time I have seen a strain up there. But, it IS rare.

I wasn't trying to say you were bullshitting, just suggesting the potential for a lab technician to mess up results. It happens, not often, but it happens. If the results are accurate it would be quite the phenomenon.

Like I said it is not common but not unheard of either. I was a bit shocked too. But, I will say if the tester saw 35% chances are they ran the test more than once. Most likely they would be surprised and want to double check. I know I would. But, it was tested correctly and had lots of thc... It was pretty crazy and I saw that strain+results the day before I responded.
