Brewing ayahuasca

Is this purging different than other psychedelic belly spills? I tried brewing this stuff once, to no avail, and also extracted from mhrb, and never got anywhere except hearing what I call the grunga-lunka music and really intense red blue green tracers when I removed my glasses on smoked dmt extract. Never broke through, I guess

I tried ayahuasca herbal tea the tea tasted weird when i took it. this also made me vommit
but after that the tea started working and when i open my eyes i was in a spirtual place
