Breaking Time Release on Morphine Sulfate SR

Hello all. I'm sure this has been asked before but I kinda needed a fast answer and as usual couldn't find anything with the search engine. I have acquire 4 30mg Morphine Sulfate SR pills. The only way I am taking these is by mouth. Is there a way I can break the time release on it before taking them?
