I am one of those unfortunate individuals that can't seem to break through the threshold on salvia. I'm losing patience with it by now, and don't plan on doing it again in the near future, but will keep trying eventually. At this moment however salvia is not something I'm currently experimenting with, much other pressing matters/psychedelics.
I've used up to 10x up to 30x standardized extract (small glass pipe, large glass bong, torch everytime, hold the hit in forever - my technique isn't wrong).
I'd like to hear about how/when others eventually broke through, and I think it would help a lot of people if some of you could propose your opinion of why/how you finally broke through. Of course, I'm not ruling out that it could be completely arbitrary, I just think it would be a nice discussion.
